Book Presentation:– “Vangelistra and Other Churches of Karpathos”
The luncheon will conclude with the introduction of the recently published book titled “Vangelistra and Other Churches of Karpathos” – a publication of Apella Nota authored by Manolis G. Cassotis. This book, which will be presented by its author, provides a detailed and fascinating history of 'Vangelistra,' the main church of the Karpathian village of Pigadia, and other churches or monasteries in the area. The historical account is embellished with invaluable sociological accounts about life and events associated with these churches.
